Tribute from Commander From Lieut-General Sir Aylmer Hun-ter-Weston. of Ilunterston, K.C.B. D. 5.0., R.E., J.P.. D.L., M.P., the commander of the 29th Division at Gallipoli, who is at present in I ganda, I north of Lake Victoria. Africa, the following message to his late cotnrades-in-artns'lias reached tbe Minister of Defence, lion. .1. G. Cobbe:— “To his old couirades-in-arms in Australia and in New Zealand the old commander of tin* 29th Division and of the Sth Army Corps sends greetings and best wishes. I tun at present in the middle of Africa on a strenuous but most interesting semi-ollieial tour. I have, therefore. neither lime nor opportunity to say to our capable and trust,v comrades-tn-nrms of tin* Australian and New Zealand ; Armv Corps (A.N.Z.A.C.) all that I I would wish to say on niy own behnlt and 1 on behalf of the 29th Division Association of which I have the honour to be president. All I need shy. and what you will best like to hear, is that your gallant deeds nnd your trusty cimraileship are never forgotten by us.
