FIRE POLICE
Annual Smoke Concert A large number of members of the Wellington Volunteer Fire Police attended the annual smoke concert and swearing-in ceremony, held at the Central Fire Station on Thursday evening. of the Wellington fire police, stressed, the great value of their duties, among which were the controlling of the crowds that generally collected at fires, and also the slavage work which they undertook. He complimented the volunteers upon the efficient way in which they had carried out their duties.
