Mrs. F. Jervis, Lower Hutt, is on a visit to Auckland. Mrs. Cramwell, Hamilton, is spending a few days in Wellington.
Dr. and Mrs. Wells, Wairarapa, are on a visit to Wellington. .Mrs. Daysh,’of Mayfair Flats, is spending the week-end at Wanganui. Briton-Smith and her family, Central Terrace, are at Paraparaumu for the Easter holidays.
Mr. and Mrs. M, D. Vickers, Awatea Street, Porirua,.are passengers travelling by. the Wanganelia to Sydney, en route to England. . Mrs. Henry Hall, Hill Street, will leave for a visit to her son, Mr. Peter Hall, Marlborough, in about ten days’ time.
Mrs. I. A. Tripe, Selwyn Terrace, is at present in Christchurch and will not be leaving for a visit to England until the middle of Slay. Mrs. 11. C. Addison, Kelburn, and Miss A. Addison have left for a visit to the north and will return on Tuesday. . Mrs. Fotheringhum and Miss Nancy Fotherlngham, of Central Terrace, Kelburn, will leave on a holiday visit to Sydney and Melbourne by the Monowai on Thursday nest. Mr. and Mrs. Thodey, Gladstone Terrace, are spending Easter at the Chateau Tongariro, accompanied by their daughter, Miss Margaret Thodey and their niece, Miss Freda Luke, Melbourne. . z
Mrs. von Zedlitz, Lower Hutt, and her . mother, Mrs. Fitzherbert, will leave on Thursday next for a visit to .Wanganui. “Mrs. Fitzherbert will stay with Mrs. Latham for some time and Mrs. Zedlitz will stay the week-end with Mrs. W. Izard, College Street. Miss-Eileen Humphreys, Auckland, left for Sydney by the Wanganelia. There she will connect with the Strathaird for England. Miss Humphreys is to be married and will reside at Burnley, Lancashire. During the last few days she has been the guest of Mrs. Spencer Digby at Day’s Bay. Mrs. H. VOgel will leave Wellington by the Mataroa on April 28 for a visit to England. She expects to return in November. Mrs. Vogel has been entertained at several parties, the hostesses including Mrs. Eric Riddiford and Mrs. A. K. S. Mackenzie. Next week several luncheon and afternoon parties will also be given in l her honour.
