OPERATION ON PYTHON. A successful operation for the removal of a cyst was recently performed on a Himalayan python, in London. Last July lids snake went on hunger strike, and during the following months he appeared to be in doubtful health. Recently he began to develop a large cyst in his neck, and some days ago he was removed to the ‘reptiles hospital, where the growth was removed. When the wound healed the python retiuned to his exhibition den. He promptly, celebrated his recovery by devouring a chicken. He is now feeding so well that his body frequently resembles a scenic railway.
