TO-DAY’S WEATHER FORECAST.

Meteorological Office, Wellington, Wednesday, April 12, 1933, at 4 p.m. A deep cyclone is now centred north-east of Cape Maria and moving southeastward. A series of rather deep westerly depressions is crossing the soutn Tasman Sea. South-easterly winds north of Kawhia and Napier, reaching gale force in places. Elsewhere north-east to north-west, strong south of Hokitika and Akaroa, • otherwise moderate. Seas rough north of/Napier and south of Greymouth; elsewhere moderate in New Zealand waters. Moderate to strong south-easterly winds in the northern portion, and strong northwesterlies in the southern portion of the eastern Tasman Sea. Seas moderate to rough. Rain developing north of Kawhia and Napier, with some heavy falls, especially between Hawke's Bay and East Cape. Showers also on the west coast of the South Island and in the far south. Fair elsewhere. Temperatures ■ moderate.
