NEW SPEEDWAY
Malcolm Campbell Interested
Sydney, April, 4. The progress association of a small village named Collector, south of Goulburn, has issued an invitation to Sir Malcolm Campbell to make a further attempt on the land speed record on the dry bed of Lake George in that locality. It points out that many thousands of visitors could see the whole thing from the surrounding hills. Sir Malcolm replied: “I am much interested in your proposition. The lake surface must be perfect. I am writing for further details.”
