BODY IN RIVER
Resident of Blenheim
By Telegraph.—Press Association. ' Blenheim, April 4.
The body of William Henry Maskill, a well-known old resident of Blenheim, was recovered from the Opawa River near the boatsheds shortly after mid-day to-day. Mr. Maskill left home after breakfast yesterday, and was , not seen again by his family, though he was conversing in the afternoon with a friend close to where the body was recovered. Deceased’s bicycle was found on the riverbank. A curious circumstance is that Mr. Maskill had thrust his spectacles into a slit in the seat of the machine. ~
