An advance of Id. to 2d. in the price of eggs is the main alteration in household goods this week. Last week they were selling at 1/7 to 1/10, but are now being sold for 1/8 to 2/- a dozen. Butter has shown a further drop, and can be bought for Sd. a lb. Cabbages, tomatoes, grapes, anti peaches have all risen slightly, and plums have practically gone out. Meat prices show very little diffierence, and fish has shown no change at all.
