CABARET EVENING

A pleasant cabaret evening was held at the Margaret O’Connor studio on Saturday. Dancing was enjoyed to the music of an efficient orchestra. During the evening Miss Maureen Smith sang songs. Miss Margaxet O’Connor wore a gown of black ring velvet inset with godets of red, with novel red and black puff sleeves. Among those present were: Mesdames Parlette, Underwood, and Haydock, Misses J. Turnbull, I. Carney, Turnbull. M. Smith, Booth (Auckland), M. Vause. Zemba, and Olifent, Messrs.. Parlette, Underwood, B. Cross, Brickman. Glazier, F. Keeley, Hudson, Priestley, and L. Richardson.
