YESTERDAY’S WEATHER

Quick Change in Wellington

It was bright and sunny during the morning at Wellington, but shortly after midday the sky clouded over and a cold southerly wind sprang up. Fine summery conditions, with bright sunshine and a light southerly wind, prevailed all day at Auckland. The sky was overcast at Christchurch. In the morning there was a high southerly wind, but it was calm in the afternoon, when there was a very light drizzle. A fresh south-west wind with passing cloud and sunshine prevailed at Dunedin.
