Miss Gibbons, of Marton, Is visiting Mrs. Sleigh, Lower Hutt. Mrs. J. A. C. Bayne, of Wellington, is staying in Greymouth. Mr. and Mrs. P. J. McLean, Greymouth, are at present in Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. Jack 11. Mills, Wellington, are staying in Christchurch. Miss Ida Wolferstan, Wellington, is on a visit to New Plymouth, and is the guest of Mrs. L. B. Webster.

Mrs. H. It. Thomas, Kelburn, who is the guest of Mrs. Gill, Masterton, will return to Wellington to-morrow.

Miss Jessie Home, New Plymouth, is visiting Wellington, and will leave later on a tour of the north.

Mrs. W. Trolove, who has been visiting Wellington, has returned to Christchurch.

Mrs. Douglas Williams, Clareinch, has returned home after a visit to Mrs. R. E. Tripe, Selwyn-Ter-race.

Mr. and Mrs. Geoffrey Goodwin, of Lower Hutt, will leave to-night for the South Island to visit the Cold Lakes.

Miss Freda Luke, Melbourne, is the guest of her aunt, Mrs. Thodey, Gladstone Terrace.

Senator Massey Greene and Mrs. Greene will arrive in Wellington on Monday from Sydney, and will stay at the Midland Hotel.

Mrs. W. Graham, of New Plymouth, is in Wellington, and will tour the South Island before leaving early in April for Sydney. Mr. and Mrs. H. Esdaile, Christchurch, will make their home in Wellington on their return from Sydney.

Mrs. J. 0. Westall, Auckland, who has been visiting her sister-in-law, Mrs. Frank Wilding, Rlccarton, is spending a few weeks at Heretaunga before returning to Auckland. Dr. Ada Patterson, Wellington, is the guest of Mrs. Gordon Fraser, New Plymouth. ’ '

Mrs. P. Atkinson and Miss Ernestine Fookes have returned to New Plymouth from several weeks! holiday spent ' in visiting the Picton Sounds and Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Townsend, of Wellington, have returned from a short visit to Wanganui.

Miss Inman, Herbertville, who has been, the guest of Mrs. Inman, Cattle Valley, South Canterbury, has left on a short visit to Dunedin. Mr. and Mrs. L.' 0. H. Tripp, Molesworth Street, intend sailing for England by the Rangitane, which will leave Wellington about April 13. Mrs. Guy Cotterill and Mrs. Seymour Colbeck, of Christchurch, have left Wellington on their way to Auckland. Mr. and Mrs. P. Christensen and family, Lower Hutt, are on a visit to Wairoa, being the guests of Mr. and Mrs. 11. Christensen.

Bennett, of Wellington, are visiting Wanganui. ■ Miss Joan Dutton has arrived in New Plymouth from Wellington to take up her duties on the nursing staff of the New Plymouth Public Hospital. Miss Merle Miller and Mr. Malcolm Miller, Christchurch, have left for England to continue their musical studies. Miss Miller, In addition to being au accomplished pianist, is an outstanding soprano singer. Mr. Miller is a bass baritone.
