Private Enterprise May Take Over in N.S.W. PREMIER’S PROPOSALS (Received Feb. 17, 8.30 p.m.) Sydney, Feb. 17. The Premier of New South Wales, Mr., Bertram Stevens, announced that the Government intends to create a Public Utilities Corporation to control Tram and bus services, and later, if ' satisfied that private capital is available for the conduct Of these services, it will be prepared to dispose of them, subject to certain safeguards regarding fares and freights. The corporation for the present will act in an advisory capacity to the existing Transport Commission.
