North Auckland Coast VOYAGE BY MAR AM A By Telograpb.—Press Association. . Auckland, Feb. 17. A highly successful pleasure cruise, made by the Union Company’s Marama along the North Auckland coast, was concluded to-day. Tlie vessel left Auckland on Monday evening with 300 passengers, including visitors from Australia and the South Island. She called at Whnngaroa, Russell, and the Great Barrier Island. The Marama returned to Auckland this morning with tourists singing. and Cheering on the decks. This afternoon she left on her usual run to Sydney. All passengers were delighted with the experience, and presented the captain with a letter voicing appreciation of the company’s enterprise.

The cruise was the first of the kind made in northern •waters. and sightseeing trips were arranged for tourists at ports of call.
