WANGANUI RACES
Costumes and Smart Hats
Dominion Special Service. Wanganui, Feb. 17.
The weather was fine, but looked too uncertain for the wearing of summer frocks on Thursday, the first day of the Wanganui races. A few light frocks were seen, worn under coats, but costumes predominated. Numbers of the smart little hats with eye-veils were seen, and a few of the new season’s felts and velours.
