CHICKEN-POX ON SHIP
Patients Removed to Hospital By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Jan. 18. A mild outbreak of chicken-pox occurred ’during the voyage of the steamer Cornwall, which arrived ftom Liverpool to-day. ’ The vessel is a training ship tor officers, and carries thirty-four cadets who are utilised as seamen. Three cadets contracted the complaint and wfere isolated on board by the ship’s doctor. The patients were convalescent when the steamer arrived and were taken to hospital for further medical attention.
