’ It cannot be too often emphasised that when disconnecting the batteries from a set the leads should be detached at the battery end, not at the receiver terminals. If the leads are left connected to the batteries and are detached from the set terminals, the various spade ends may touch with disastrous results so far as the batteries are concerned. ,
