Special Meeting of Makara County Council, held, on Friday, the 18th day of November, 1932, the following resolution was passed :— "That in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on it by Section 131, sub-section (1), paragraph (C) of the Counties Act, 1920. and of every other power and authority enabling it in that behalf, the Makara County. Council hereby resolves and declares that the following roads shall be Main Roads: — “(1) Main North Road from Ngithauranga to the Makara County boundary at Paremata, excluding that section in the Johnsonville Town District. “(2) I’orirua-Titahi Bay Road, “(3) Karori-Ohariu Bay Road from the Wellington City boundary to Ohariu Bay. “(4) Newlands-I’aparangi-Johnsonville Road from tiie Ngahauranga Gorge to the Northern boundary of the Johnsonville Town District. “(5) Johnsonville-Ohariu - Road and (part Ohariu Valley Road) from its junction with the Karori-Ohariu Bay Road to tiie Northern boundary of the Johnsonville Town District.” And NOTICE is hereby given that die resolution will be submitted for confirmation as u Special Order at an Ordinary Meeting of the Makara County Council to be held on Friday, the 2(lth day of January, 1933. at the Council Chamber, 57 Ballance Street, Wellington, at 10 a.m. Dated at Wellington this 28th day of December, 1932.
