PARAMOUNT THEATRE.
The popularity of Jack Hulbert and his worthy colleagues in fun production, Cicely Coiirteneidge and 'Winifred Shotter, seems to be unbounded. The trio form one of the strongest teams of merrymakers in pictures, and they have splendid up-to-date and novel material to work upon in Gainsborough's latest musical comedy success, “Jack’s the Boy.” Jack Hulbert eclipses anything lie has previously dime in other pictures, and reveals himself as one of the most vertatile and genuinely funny jesters of thte talking screen. Cieelv Cour'neiclge. as the keeper of the Loch Lomond Cafe (with a delightful Scottish accent) is a host in herself, and puts over a most amusing song in the true Courtneidge manner. Dainty Winifred Shotter supplies the romance of the story, and is seen and heard to special advantage with Jack Hulbert in a very tuneful duet.” I will cling to Ivy if Ivy Clings to nix” “Jack’s the Boy” is an entertainment that will give pleasure to young and old.
