GREY FLANNELS

Grey flannels are particularly liable to show dirty marks and greasy spot's, which arc difficult to remove. Often petrol and benzine will be found to have little or no effect, and in addition they bleach the surrounding cloth to a lighter colour than the rest of the garment. In such cases a most ellicaeious method is to rub the spot smartly with a cloth, using a little soap and cold water. Hot water should not be used. This will be found to be most effective aud safe even with more delicate fabrics.
