Wanganui Combined Doubles RESULT OF THE FINAL Dominion Special Service. Wanganui, Jan. 5The combined doubles championship final of the Wanganui' lawn tennis tournament was played to-day, and resulted in Malfroy and Miss Glennie beating Lampe and Miss Rutherford, 6 —4, 6 0. At the conclusion of the game Malfroy left for New Plymouth. WILDING SHIELD Wellington Team Selected The following team has been selected by the Wellington. Lawn. Robertson (Timaru) and Barnett (Christchurch), I—6, B—lo. 6—4, 10—8, 6—3. Women’s doubles: Misses D. Nicholls and M. Wake (Christchurch) beat Misses I. and T. Poole (Christchurch), 6—l, 6-2. .
