Four Fines Total £270 By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin. Nov. 16. In the Police. Court to-day fines totalling £270 wfere imposed on four men vho pleaded guilty to betting. The offences were in connection with Cup week. Arthur .Edwin Lord, for using premises as a gaming house, was fined £lOO. John Alfred Haig, for permitting the use of premises as a gaming house, was fined £5O. William Valentine Forrester, for frequenting the street for betting, was fined £lOO. William Edward Bolton, on a similar charge, was fined £2O.
