Motorists Quarrell rrU '//r In Court yesterday a motorist took proceedings against another for assault. Plaintiff said that both he and defendant were light car owners. Recently, however, he, plaintiff, had traded in his old car for a Hillman. Relations with defendant, with whom he had previously been on the best of terms, thereupon became strained. Defendant looked bitterly envious every time he passed him on the road. The affair culminated a week ago when meeting the defendant, who had had a breakdown, plaintiff offered assistance and was subjected to a maniacal attack. _ While sympathising with the plaintiff, the Magistrate pointed out that provocation was exceedingly great. He himself had just purchased a Hillman. Smilingly, he admitted that he knew what envy of a Hillman owner meant, HILLMAN Built by HUMBER - HILLMAN - COMMER The Great British Combine
