STRUCK BY TWO CARS
Auckland Woman’s Death By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Nov. 10. An .adjourned inquest concerning the death of Miss Elizabeth Bott, aged 61, who received fatal injuries on the Great South Road on October 22. was concluded before Mr. Hunt, S.M., coroner. Deceased was struck by two motorears in quick succession and died liefore medical aid could be obtained. The first car did not stop and has not been identified. The coroner returned a verdict that the cause of deceased’s death was shock following multiple injuries she received when she was accidentally knocked down and run over by a motorcar driven by John Newsome. The evidence shows.” added Mr. Hunt, that deceased had just previously been struck by another car, not yet identified, which was travelling at excessive speed.”
