Monowai This Morning The Union Company has received a further wireless message from its liner Monowai, en route from San Francisco to Wellington, via Papeete and Rarotonga, reporting that she expects to arrive in the stream at 6 o’clock this morning. After pratique has been granted she will berth about 8.30 a.m. at No. 1 south Queen’s Wharf. The vessel is timed to leave here again at 3 p.m. to-morrow for Sydney. This is the Monowai’s last trip in the San Francisco mail service, as on her arrival at Sydney she will withdraw to take up her new running in the intercolonial serfice, including a monthly extension to Melbourne from Auckland. The Maunganui will take the Monowai’s running in the mail service, and will leave Sydney on November 24 for Wellington, Rarotonga. Papeete, and San Francisco.
