Ward—Seed

A very pretty wedding took place on Wednesday, November 2, at St. Barnbas’s Church. Khandallah, that of Dorothy, 'eldest daughter of Air. and Airs. Arthur Seed, Khandallah, and Tom, only son of the late Air. and Airs. Edgar Ward, Devonport, Auckland. ■ The bride wore a parchment coloured silk brocade frock. Both frock and veil (a family heirloom) had been worn by berj mother. She carried a sheaf of cream roses and lilies. Her only bridesmaid was her sister Marjorie, who wore apricot taffeta with a floral hat. She carried a bouquet in coral pink shades to tone with her frock. Air. B. Tolhurst acted as best man. The service was fully choral, and the church was beautifully decorated with arum lilies. A reception was afterward held in the Parish Hall. Air. and Airs. Ward left on a motor tour. Their home is in Tauranga.
