PROBLEMS . IN RADIO ' Every listener 'has experienced the breaking J down of his set during an important concert J = or speech, and he knows just how much bother it- is to get it going again without the aid of an expert. With the amateur’s problems well in view the 1932 “Radio Guide” sets out quite plainly how to rectify minor wrongs. It gives illustrations of the parts likely to be affected and in a word spells goodbye to holdups for those who have a copy of this invaluable publication by them. Lists of all stations are incorporated, together with wavelengths and hours of operation so that “fanning the air" is abolished by looking up the station and tuning direct.
