Mr. Christopher Richardson has died at. Whickham, Durham. No one has ever heard of him outaide his viliage, yet lie would have been the very man for the king who could only be euretl by wearing the shirt of a completely happy man. He was said to b.e the oldest working gardener in England, and wtts’ 93 when he died. Long ago he could have retired upon a pension, but he declined to do that.
