Women's Teams for To-day DOMINION CHAMPIONSHIPS Dominion Special Service. Tiinaru, Oct. 5. The thirty-sixth New Zealand ladies’ golf championship opens at. Highfiehl jinks to-morrow, when an iuter-island match will be played between teams of eight. Yesterday players with the same handicaps played off to decide whieh should be included. Miss E. Upton (Auckland) beat Mrs.| Russell Grate (Wanganui) for first place in the North Island team, made vacant through the illness of Mrs D. Wilson. Mrs. Templer, Misses Beadei, Tizard, Pringle, Loughnan. Fleming and Acheson played for four places in the South Island team. Miss Beadei (S 3 Miss Tizard. Mrs. Temple, Miss Pringle, qualified. Miss Loughnan disqualified herself by playing the wrong The teams are:—North Island: Miss Gaisford, Mrs. Collinson, Miss BarnesGraham, Mrs. Guv Williams, Miss M. Stevens, Miss S. Wilson, Mrs. Foreman, and Miss Upton. South Island: Miss Kay, Mrs. Dodgshun, Miss Rutherford, Mrs. McCarthy, Miss Beadei M-- Tempter, and Misses Pringle and Tizrard.
