£4789 FOR ANNUITIES
Former Legislators Participate Special annuities granted by the Government will cost the Dominion £4789 this year. A number of the grants are to former members of Parliament. while others are no widows whoso husbands were killed while on war service, and who do not get a pension in the ordinary way. Grants to former members of the Legislature or their widows arc as follow:—Mrs. H. Barr, widow of the Hon. J. Barr, M.L.C.. £120: F. N. Bartram, ex-M.P., £120; Mrs. E. H. Brown, widow of ex-M.P., £7B; Mrs. K. Colvin, widow of ex-M.P., £100; Mrs. K. T. Dickie, widow of ex-M.P., £100; J. S. Dickson, ex-M.P., £75; A. E. Glover. exM.P., £120; L. M. Grace, ex-M.P., £120; Mrs. B. Hogg, widow of ex-M.P., £100; .Mrs. S. S. Hornsby, widow of ex-M.P., £100: Mrs. M. Mills, widow of exit! LC., £100; Lady Pomare, £150: Hon. G. W. Russell, ex-M.P., £120: W. T. Wood, ex-M.P., £lOO.
