EASTBOURNE FESTIVITIES
Opening Ball of the Tennis Club Eastbourne is quite one of the most enterprising of Wellington’s suburbs, and its residents are always organising successful dahces. The next big event will be the Murltal Tennis Club’s opening bail, which will take place on October Bin the Day’s Bay Pavilion. The arrangements are in the efficient hands of the social committee. The joint organisers are Mrs. Jowett and Mr. Fisher. Other members of the committee are Mrs. Robinson, Mrs. Braund, Miss Greig, Miss W. Richards, Mr. Reeves, Mr. Grant, and Mr. Catley.
