CALLS UNANSWERED

Napier Waterfront Trouble PORT HUON DIVERTED By Telegraph—Press Association. Napier, Sept. 22. Calls for labour at the waterfront again went unanswered to-day, and three vessels are idle. The Port Huon, from Wellington, has been diverted by radio to Auckland. At Auckland the Port Huon will continue her Homeward loading. She is to return from Auckland to Gisborne and Napier to complete. She is now scheduled to clear the Hawke’s Bay port on October 4 for London, via Cape Horn. The coastal vessels Kini, Paua, and Koutunui are at present held up at Napier, while the Pakura, which was due there last night from Wellington, will also be held up until work is resumed.
