RELIEF MEASURES
Co-operation in Seatoun Much is being done by the relief workers of Seatoun toward easing distress and hardship ip that suburb. “A mutual help committee of relief workers co-operates with the local relief committee,” said Mr. R. N. Gordon, secretary of the committee, yesterday. “With money raised by their voluntary labour they assist the local funds. They are helping by boot-’ mending, firewood-cutting, gardening, etc., and are materially aiding by making all the scenery for a first-class entertainment to be held next week in the local Presbyterian Church Hall. Such endeavours are to be commended, and in. this case it is hoped the local public will respond warmly.”
