TIMMY “SCHNOZZLE” DURANTE will sing “I Can Do Without Broadway, But Can Broadway Do Without Me I” and “The Greeks Got Two Words For ’.it!” in his hilarious manlier in “Speakeasily, ’ Buster Keaton's new comedy. Portraying the role of a small town piano player in a broken-down show, “Schnozzle" 'S given many opportunities for uproarious singing and comedy. Keaton, in
the role of a millionaire college professor, “adopts" him with the rest of the show for a Broadway run. Edward Sedgwick is directing, and the supporting cast includes Ruth belwyu, Thelma Todd, Hedda Hopper, Sidney Toler. Lawrence Grant and Henry Annetta.
The popular Winifred Shotter has been lent by British Dominions Films to Gainsborough Pictures to play the leading part in “Jack’s the. Boy, the Jack ‘ Hulbert-Cicely Courtneidge picture now being directed at Islington by Walter Forde. On the completion of the production Miss Shotter will immediately return to the B D.F. lot to star in a production, the title of which has not yet been revealed.
