The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, have received the following advice from their London house, dated August 17:—Dairy produce (late week’s quotations in parentheses): Butter, N.Z. choicest salted, 109/-110/-per cwt (107/-) ; market steady. Cheese, white, 62/- per cwt. (59/-) ; market firm. Coloured. ob/-57/- per cwt. (55/6 >o 06/-); market slow. ■ London Tallow Market The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., have received the following cable message from their London house dated August 17: — Tallow (prices as at July 14 in parentheses) : Fine mutton, 23/6 per cwt. (24/-) : good beef. 23/- (25/-) ; mixed, 22/6 (23/6). Improved demand.
