McKenzie, who has been visiting her son, the Rev. Gordon McKenzie, Wellington, has returned to Christchurch. Miss Jessie Elliott will arrive from Christchurch on Saturday to spend the School of Art holidays with her parents, Dr. and Mrs. Elliott, Wellington. Mrs. E. • W. Annand has returned to hfer home in Wellington after being the guest of her mother, Mrs. C. A. Arnold, St. Clair, Dunedin, for the past few -weeks. Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Wauchop, Wellington, who have been staying with Mrs. C. G. Sommers, Christchurch, have left for Timaru, where Mr. Wauchop will act as judge of a dramatic competition. They will return to Wellington on Sunday.

Lady Ohaytor (England) will arrive in Wellington on August 23. She will journey south to Timaru and then on to Dunedin. Mrs. Leslie Wilson, of Dunedin; Mrs. W. A. Lyon, Woodville; Mrs. O. A. Cameron and Miss Cameron, ton, are staying at the Royal Oak Hotel. Miss C. Mitchell, of Christchurch, Is staying at the Hotel St. George. Mrs. P. D. Cameron, Wellington, has returned from a visit to the country, where she has been staying with Mrs. Guy Lewis. Mr. F. Wentworth Slater, A.R.0.0., adjudicator for the Wellington Competitions Society, has arrived in Wellington, and is the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Jacobs, Hataltai. Miss Ruby Anscombe, Wellington, who has gone south to attend the St. Andrew’s College old girls’ dance, is the guest of Miss Mary Anderson, Mornington, Dunedin. The following guests registered at The Hfermltage, Mount Cook, during the past week: Captain T. V. Tweedy, Mr. McHardy-Forman, Mr. H. G. Williams, Mr. J. Coates, and Mr. P. Mulgrew, Wellington.
