Money to Relieve Distress WOMEN & CHILDREN Sufferers in Main Centres The directors of the Bank of New Zealand have allocated the sum of £4900 for the relief of women and children in distress in the four centres of the Dominion. The amount will be disbursed through organisations which are dealing with this particular phase of relief work. With a view to assisting the bank in making its decision regarding the distribution of the money, organisations engaged in this class of relief work are invited to communicate with the bank’s manager in any one of the four centres, giving particulars of their activities.
