PAYMENT IN WHEAT
Alberta Farmers’ Plan (Rec. August 12, 5.5 p.m.) I Calgary, August 11. A special session of the Legislature to deal with a proposal to make farmers’ past debts payable in wheat at a set price was urged by the United Farmers of Alberta. The resolution asks that the set price make the creditor bear part of the losses now borne wholly by the farmer.
