Cleavin, of Auckland, is staying at the Midland Hotel. Mrs. L. T. Watkins, Lower Hutt, is the guest of Mrs. J. McKenzie, Gloucester Street, Christchurch. Miss Ethnee Reeves, Lyall Bay, is visiting Miss Moiya Ward, Tablelands, Martinborough. Lady Carncross will return to 131tham this morning after a brief visit to Wellington. Miss Rosalind Stott, Northland, is on a visit to Hawera, where she is the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Stott. Miss Joyce Farrington, Hill Street, Wellington, left for New Plymouth yesterday. Mis.- G. N. Christian, of Remuera, Auckland, is visiting her sister, Mrs. Lundius, Wellington. Mrs. I. L. Hjorring, of Oamaru, is visiting Wellington and is at the Midland Hotel. Miss S. A. Nixon is a Christchurch visitor to Wellington. She is staying at the Midland Hotel. Mrs. I. Duncan and Miss Duncan, of Wanganui, are staying at the Midland .Hotel. Mrs. I. Duncan, Wanganui, who motored to Wellington on Thursday, expects to return home to-day. Mrs. A. E. Cowper, Wanganui, who has been the guest of Mrs. C. Earle, Lower Hutt, will return home to-day. Mrs. J. McKenzie, Christchurch, who has been visiting her son, the Rev. Gordon McKenzie, Wellington/has returned home. Mrs. Alfred Kidd, a member of the Auckland Hospital Board, Is visiting Wellington, and expects to return home early next week. " Miss Felicity Thynne,'elder daughter iof Mr. and Mrs. G. R. Thynne, of Taumarunul (formerly of Masterton),, has entered the Auckland Public Hospital as probationer. Mr. and Mrs. Karins, Papua, will arrive in Wellington by the Maunganui on September 23. They will travel that night to Timaru, where they wIU be the guests of Mrs. C. H. Gorton. A recent visitor to Wellington was Mrs..
