ESPERANTO CLUB

The usual weekly meeting pf the Wellington Esperanto Club was held on 'Jhiesday evening in the Y.M.C.A. Mr. Bertram Potts, D.8.E.A., presided. Class-work occupied the first part of the evening, after which Miss G. Carty, speaking in Esperanto, graphically described the artistic, character of Japanese film pictures. Miss C. Siny.thson spoke on modern methods of cuaing frost-bite nnd chilblains. Mr. Vernon Leek humorously described a birthday party, with special reference to the sayings of precocious children. The local representative of the Universal Homatna (Human Love) Association supplied the club with copies of the official organ. “Oomoto Inte.rna.cia,” printed in Esperanto.
