ALEXANDRA HOME
Mrs. T. E. Corkill presided over the monthly meeting of the committee of the Alexandra Home, when there were present Mesdames Gill, Watt, Hempton, Kemp, Shirer and Miss Fraser.
The matron reported, that there were 33 adults and 22 infants iu the home, and that there had been 24 confinements and three district cases attended. There were 112 attendances at the ante-natal clinic. The matron acknowledged with thanks the following gifts: Wicker cot and stand, Mrs. K. H. 'Wilson; baby’s vests, Lady Armstrong; church magazines, Mr. Taine.
