George Bernard Shaw’s well-known play, "Arms and the Man,” is being produced as a talkie feature by British International Pictures. The author has himself co-operated with the director, Cecil Lewis, and Walter Mycroft, the scenario editor of 8.1. P. on the preparation of the script and has permitted certain alterations to be made to his play in order to conform more nearly to screen requirements. A particularly powerful cast has been selected for this important film and in-

eludes Anue Grey, in the leading feminine role; Barry Jones, in the famous part of Bluntschlli, the “chocolate cream’’ soldier; Maurice Colbourne, Frederick Lloyd. Angela Baddeley, H. 0. Nicholson, Margaret Scudamore, and Wallace Evenett. The musical version of this show is the famous “Chocolate Soldier.”
