GALLI-CURCI'S CONCERTS

'V’OT only musical circles, but the -L' general public, are thrilled at the statement made by Mr. Harry Stringer, New Zealand representative of Messrs. J. and N. Tait, that the world-famous singer, Madame Amelita Galli-Curci, will open the New Zealand tour this month, and that arrangements are now in hand for the appearance of the diva in districts which have never before been favoured with a visit from such a distinguished artiste as “The World’s Song-Bird," as Galli-Curci Is known in the great cities. Her Auckland concerts will be held on August 22. 24, and 26. Her first Wellington concert will be given on Thursday. August 25, and the second on Saturday, August 27, after which Christchurch (August SO, September 1 and 3), and Dunedin (September 7 and 10) will be visited.
