Men in Relief Camp COLD WAS TOO INTENSE By Telegraph—Press Association. Rotorua, August 5. Finding the cold on the Kaingaroa Plains so intense that they were unable to work, 29 men in the single relief workers’ forestry camp, 80 miles from Rotorua, yesterday returned to camp during the morning. At lunch time they were given an opportunity to return to work, but refused to do so. and were discharged. The men reached Rotorua this afternoon, and were paid off this evening.
