RAIN
Shining, glistening drop of water, Brought by some heavy shower, Dancing, prancing on Us way, To the heart of some pretty flower. Little, tiny crystal ball, Tn the sunshine turned to gold. ’Tte the castle of a fairy small, Filled with wonder to behold. Or perhaps ’tis the tear of a sky maiden fair, When sadly she does cry. Falling swiftly through the air, Straight from an azure sky. —Third prize, equal—By Mary Gteig, aged 11 years, Wanganui.
