John Hurley, a grazier In the Wagga district, gave evidence that he accompanied Mr. McCarthy when he visited Mr, Swindell, who wanted £lOOO or 1000 shares to ensure the issue of a tin hare license. Witness would have nothing to do with it. "I cleared out, leaving McCarthy with him,” he said. The hearing was adjourned.
