Economic Discussions AMERICA TO ASSIST Official Wireless Rugby, August 3. The United States Government has sent to the British Embassy at Washington an acceptance of the invitation to take part in the forthcoming World Economic Conference. The invitation specified that war debts, reparations, and tariff rates would be excluded from the agenda. The United States will now appoint a representative on the committee to discuss the preliminary organisation of the Conference, and also one economic and one financial expert to the committee of experts who will prepare the ground for the Conference.
