Public Works Clerk SENT FOR SENTENCE By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, August 4. A clerk in the Public Works Department, George Alfred Pitt, aged 19, arrested recently in Hamilton, pleaded guilty to-day to forgery and uttering a cheque and so obtaining £4B. The offence was committed in September, 1931. Pitt was committed for sentence.
