S.P.C.A. and the “Zoo”
Sir, —While expressing appreciation of your report of the views of the S.P.C.A. on the question of the Wellington “Zoo.” I must also apologise for my illegibility and correct a slight discrepancy. My data were all for the years 1924-1927, and the spider monkeys and alligators to which I referred were admitted dur•ing that period, dying a few months later. I find that two of the alligators survived for about eleven months. There is no information in my possession concerning “last year.”—l am, etc., C. CHRISTIE. Wellington, August 2.
