Robins May Not Travel By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyrifht London, August 3. It is again rumoured that Robins will be unable to accept the invitation to Australia. It is understood that the obstacle is domestic rather than business, as Robins desires to take his wife, to which the M.C.C. is opposed, although it made an exception in favour of Hobbs’s wife in 1928, but it is unlikely the M.C.C. will repeat the concession.
INDIAN CRICKETERS Glamorgan Beaten London, August 2. The All-India cricket team defeated Glamorgan by 54 runs. In their second innings the tourists made 87, Clay taking four wickets for 34 runs, and Glamorgan replied with 181. The first innings scores were: All-India 229, Glamorgan 81. Match With Warwickshire London, August 3. Scorbs in the cricket match AllIndia v. Warwickshire are:—AllIndia, first innings 282 (Naoomal 72. Amar Singh. 57; Paine five wickets for 110); Warwickshire, first innings 66 for three wickets. PROMISING YOUNG BOWLER London, August 3. J. H. Cameron, an eigh teen-year-old Taunton School boy, born in Jamaica, took ten wickets for 49 runs in a single innings, playing at Lord’s for the Public Schools against Lord School. Cameron is a googlie bowler of the Robins type. He goes to Oxford in 1933.
