PATIENTS ENTERTAINED

Women’s Ward, Victoria Hospital An enjoyable concert was given to the patients in the women’s ward, Victoria Hospital, by Miss Turner’s String Band. Some interesting items were given, including elocutionary items, songs, and pianoforte solo. All other items were given by Miss Turner’s String Band and were thoroughly enjoyed. A hearty vote of thanks was given by Mr. Cedric Campbell on behalf of Miss Cookson, the lady superintendent, Sister Lees, the nurses, and the patients.

A concert was given by the Miramar Methodist Choir to the patients in the women’s ward, Victoria Hosp!--tai.

The items contributed were songs, elocutionary items, solos, and also oldtime songs. The community sing was much enjoyed.

A hearty vote of thanks was given on behalf of Miss Cookson, the lady superintendent, Nurse Gooch, charge nurse, the nurses, and the patients.
